Titans agree to deal with Browns linebacker in free agency

The Tennessee Titans continued their busy offseason of acquisitions on Saturday. According to NFL Networkโs Tom Pelissero, linebacker Mohamoud Diabate agreed to a deal with the Titans in free agency. Diabate originally signed a three-year, $2.
7 million deal with the Cleveland Browns as an undrafted free agent in 2023. In three seasons with the Browns, the Utah product has recorded one forced fumble, eight tackles for loss, as well as three passes defensed. Diabate began his college career at Florida, where he played for four seasons, before transferring to Utah for his final collegiate season in 2022.
He recorded 13. 5 tackles for loss and five sacks for the Utes, which was his best college season. The Titans have aggressively addressed their defense this offseason.
Diabate joins defensive lineman John Franklin-Myers, in addition to cornerbacks Alontae Taylor and CorโDale Flott, as some of the free agents that the Titans have signed in the open market.
