Steelers' Will Howard, Aaron Rodgers spotted at flag football event

Yahoo Sports

To the delight of Pittsburgh Steelers fans, Will Howard and Aaron Rodgers were recently spotted at a flag football charity event.

There's been plenty of noise surrounding Aaron Rodgers and whether or not he'll return to the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2026, and it's only grown since he was spotted at a flag football event with 2025 sixth-round quarterback Will Howard . During a charity flag football tournament hosted by RX3 Foundation, Rodgers and Howard were captured via an Instagram story participating in the event, fueling speculation about the 42-year-old's potential return to Pittsburgh this upcoming season. Rodgers, a co-founder of the charity organization, managed to win the flag football tournament with Team RX3 Foundation.

Turning back the clock in a huge way last season, Rodgers threw for 3,322 yards and 24 touchdowns in 2025, leading the Steelers to a Wild Card berth. Rodgers' appearance at the flag football charity tournament, alongside Howard, may have led some to believe a return is inevitable, but Pittsburgh would be wise to have a contingency plan in place barring a retirement.
