SIOUX FALLS, S. D. (KELO) — The No.
2 seed Freeman Flyers claimed its first state title in 51 years over defending champ Castlewood 61-53 on Saturday. The Flyers trailed by 10 at the half but powered back, outscoring the Warriors 41-23 in the second half to take the win. David Walter led Freeman with 22 points, 12 rebounds, and four assists in the Class ‘B’ title victory.
