Falcons to host Washington OL prospect on top-30 visit
Washington OT Carver Willis has pre-draft visit scheduled with Falcons
The Atlanta Falcons have one of the better offensive lines in the NFL, but it never hurts to build upon a strength. Considering left tackle Jake Matthews is 34 years old and right tackle Kaleb McGary missed all of last season with a leg injury, it may be time to invest in the future. The Falcons could look to add a developmental offensive lineman in the 2026 NFL Draft.
One late-round prospect has already been linked to Atlanta. Washington offensive tackle Carver Willis recently told SI's Justin Melo that he has a top-30 draft visit scheduled with the Falcons. "I have a pre-draft 30 visit with the Atlanta Falcons coming up as well," said Willis .
"I’ve been busy. It’s been a lot of fun. " Willis is an athletic offensive tackle who excels at zone-blocking.
The former Huskies standout switched to left tackle last season after spending the previous two seasons at right tackle. According to Willis, NFL teams think he can play just about anywhere along the offensive line. "I’m hearing a mixture of everything," Willis told SI.
