Watch: Tom Brady scores TD on first pass of flag football classic
Tom Brady stepped on the flag football field and connected on a touchdown pass to Stefon Diggs on his first throw.
Former New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady didn't start the first drive for Founders FFC in Saturday's Fanatics Flag Football Classic, but he made sure to finish it with a touchdown when he stepped onto the field. The seven-time Super Bowl champion replaced Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts on a fourth-down play and connected with former Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs for a touchdown. At 48 years old, Brady showed off his pocket mobility by making a pass-rusher miss and then delivering a dart in the corner of the end zone to Diggs.
It was the first throw of the game on a fourth down against the U. S. men's national flag football team.
