Which former MLB player is playing Banana Ball in game at DABOS Park
Former MLB Gold Glover, Jackie Bradley Jr., is playing a new style of baseball with the Indianapolis Clowns in 2026 as a part of the Banana Ball Championship League.
Only a week before the first inaugural Banana Ball player draft i n the inaugural Banana Ball Championship League, former Major League Baseball outfielder Jackie Bradley Jr. knew he was going to commit to a new brand of baseball. Bradley became the first former MLB player to fully commit to the Banana Ball League when he was the first player selected in the inaugural draft to the revived Indianapolis Clowns.
"We're obviously doing baseball functional things, but this about more of the entertainment, and trying to make the fans feel special because they are special," Bradley told the Montgomery Advertiser. Bradley was first introduced to Banana Ball when he made an appearance with the Savannah Bananas in July 2025 at Fenway Park ā where Bradley spent a lot of his MLB career patrolling the outfield with the Boston Red Sox . His oldest daughter was a fan of the Savannah Bananas, and now can't wait for school to wrap up so she enjoy seeing her dad patrol the outfield for the Clowns in her favorite kind of baseball.
