Gnabry, who has come under fire from fans in recent years, has had a very solid 2025/26 campaign and added to that standout season with a brace against the Iron Ones.

When asked about Gnabry’s terrific season, his old pal — and Bayern Munich midfielder — Joshua Kimmich said that Gnabry was ‘insane’ and that the club is lucky to have the versatile attacker on its roster. “Serge is insane, outstanding. Luckily we’ve extended his contract,” Kimmich told ranSport journalist Martin Volkmar (as captured by @iMiaSanMia ).

Gnabry was voted Man of the Match by fans and has already earned accolades from head coach Vincent Kompany as well. Clearly, many people are happy that Gnabry is succeeding as he held a reputation as a great teammate and good locker room guy throughout his tenure in Bavaria.
