Ousmane Kromah is 'taking the next step' heading into sophomore season
Ousmane Kromah showed flashes as a true freshman in 2025, but his doing all he can to be even better as a sophomore.
Florida State was able to flip four-star running back Ousmane Kromah from Georgia in the 2025 cycle, and he came into last season with pretty big high expectations as true freshman. He would finish second in rushing for the running back group and third overall on the team with 408 yards rushing on 5. 7 yards per attempt.
Kromah also racked up nine receptions for 147 yards, and he scored his only touchdown as a pass catcher. Those are decent stats, but not what Kromah was looking for. As his true sophomore season approaches, Kromah has been working on several things to take his game to the next level, and the results are showing so far during the spring as his confidence continues to increase.
"Stay calm in hectic situations. Really just trust yourself and be who you are at the end of the day," Kromah said per Noles247 . "Don't come into college and start trying to change the player you've been throughout your whole life and your whole career playing football.
Just stay to what you know. " Kromah has had some help in getting his game polished to where he wants it. The guidance of transfer running back Tre Wisner has been a key factor for him.
