Boosters in Chapel Hill are not happy with the direction the UNC basketball program is going with Hubert Davis in charge.

Things are not going well for those in Chapel Hill following North Carolina’s collapse against VCU in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The Tar Heels finished the season 24-9, but the powers that be surrounding the UNC program might be looking to make a change at head coach. Per Matt Norlander , UNC boosters are losing faith in the program after another disappointing NCAA Tournament exit under Hubert Davis, and the Tar Heels’ athletic director, Bubba Cunningham, is making a decision on Davis’ future in the next few days.

The loss to the Rams on Thursday was the second straight season the Tar Heels were eliminated in the first round of the tournament, being ousted by Ole Miss last season after winning a play-in game against San Diego State.
