Petersohn, one of the most dynamic and versatile track and field athletes ever out of southeastern Minnesota, was good enough to be named the "Athlete of the Meet" at state last June.
Petersohn was second in the 400 (personal-best 48. 16), fourth in the high jump (6-4; he went 6-10 two seasons ago); fourth in the 200 (22. 18) and sixth in the 100 (11.
24). Hard to know what Petersohn has up his sleeve for this, his senior season. In a few months he'll head to Virginia Tech, where he has committed to play football.
