Brock Hoffman will take his famously nasty disposition to Pittsburgh nearly 2 weeks after it was reported he'd reunite with HC Mike McCarthy.

Nearly two weeks after the first premature reports that interior offensive lineman Brock Hoffman had agreed to terms with the Steelers and was poised for a reunion with head coach Mike McCarthy, it's finally official. Hoffman will, in fact, sign with Pittsburgh on a one-year deal, according to multiple sources late Friday night. The 26-year-old saw action in 56 games (including two playoff appearances) for the Cowboys since joining the club as an undrafted free agent out of Virginia Tech in 2022 (and Coastal Carolina prior to that).

Hoffman went on to start 16 games wearing the star and quickly became a fan favorite thanks to his famously nasty disposition. SOURCE(S): The Steelers have signed C/G Brock Hoffman (6-4, 302) to a 1-year deal to strengthen their depth in the interior of the offensive line. The 26-year-old played 4 seasons with the Cowboys.

Reports circulated on March 10 that Hoffman had come to an agreement to join the Steelers, but Hoffman himself refuted that story , telling Nick Harris of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram that he had "NOT agreed to any deal with Pittsburgh or anywhere else. " What followed was 11 days of limbo for the 6-foot-4-inch lineman, but he's ultimately landed in the Steel City with a coach who likes him and a strong chance to compete for a starting job. The Cowboys, meanwhile, had been clearly preparing all along to watch Hoffman sign elsewhere.
