Mar. 21—With one out in the bottom of the fifth inning on Feb. 9, Ethan Biehn made the slow trot from the bullpen to the mound at Ronken Field in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

It was his first in-game appearance away from Minnesota amateur baseball in three years. The 2023 Bemidji High School graduate was an accomplished three-sport athlete before enrolling at Bemidji State. Biehn had a plethora of options to compete in college in multiple sports, ultimately choosing football on the shore of Lake Bemidji.

Football has kept Biehn busy, but not busy enough to quit baseball entirely.
