It's been two weeks since Boston Celtics center Nikola Vucevic suffered a right ring finger fracture during his team's game against the Dallas Mavericks.

Vucevic underwent surgery on March 7, and the Celtics announced at the time that the two-time All-Star would be reevaluated in three-to-four weeks. The trade deadline acquisition addressed his status on Friday night. "The good thing is I can still do some stuff on the court," Vucevic said, per The Boston Globe's Gary Washburn .

"That will help me for when I come back (to be in) shape, and hopefully I get a couple games before the playoffs, get back in rhythm with the guys that week between regular season and playoffs, every­thing going as smoothly as possible. " Vucevic landed with Boston on Feb. 5 in a deal that sent guard Anfernee Simons to the Chicago Bulls.

The 35-year-old came off the bench in 11 of his first 12 games with the Celtics before the injury, averaging 10. 4 points, 7. 2 rebounds and 21.
