It was a historic Friday night for the Florida Gators , who absolutely destroyed the Prairie View A&M Panthers in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, 114-55, in what was the largest margin of victory ever between a 1 and 16 seed and the second largest in the history of March Madness. Todd Golden's team went wire-to-wire in this one, using a 17-0 run to break open a tie game early in the first half, along with another pair of double-digit scoring streaks to take a 39-point lead into halftime. Prairie View did not stand a chance against the Orange and Blue in the second half, which cruised to a 59-point triumph in Tampa.

After the game, Golden, along with the game's leading scorer Boogie Fland and Rueben Chinyelu, who notched his 19th double-double this year, talked to the media about what transpired on Friday night.
