Rams take offensive lineman with first-round pick in new mock draft

The Rams could add some offensive line insurance in the first round.

The Los Angeles Rams don't have very many needs left on their roster heading into the 2026 NFL draft. After a great free agency period, L. A.

is as complete or a roster as any of the other top teams in the league are with a little over a month left for the draft. They still have the No. 13 pick from the Atlanta Falcons, though — a pick they can use to fortify any position they want or add a quality playmaker on either side of the ball.

NFL. com's Eric Edholm decided not to go with the flashy pick. Instead, he chose prudence over luxury with the selection of Utah offensive tackle Spencer Fano.

The Rams haven't drafted a tackle earlier than Round 5 in any of the past three years, but now it's time to plan for the future at the position. Fano would be a solid value here. Yes, his arm length (32 1/8 inches) is on the shorter end, but the Rams don't appear to be turned off by less-lengthy left tackles — Alaric Jackson isn't exactly a pterodactyl.
