With the Panthers, he posted 127 receptions for 1,965 yards and 15 touchdowns across his final two seasons.
In 2025, Hurst delivered a breakout campaign with 71 catches for 1,004 yards and six touchdowns in 12 games. The previous season, he set a program record with nine receiving touchdowns. He earned All-Sun Belt honors, claiming first-team recognition in 2025 after a second-team selection in 2024.
At the NFL Combine, Hurst ran a 4. 42-second 40-yard dash and recorded a 36. 5-inch vertical jump.
