What a month for the Oweh family.

It's been a month to remember for the Oweh family. First, Odafe Oweh signed a four-year, $100 million contract with the NFL's Washington Commanders . On Thursday, in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament, Odafe's younger brother, Otega, a 6-foot-4 senior guard, saved his Kentucky Wildcats with a thrilling, last-second 3-pointer to tie the game vs.

Santa Clara and send it into overtime. Kentucky, the No. 7 seed in the Midwest Region, was on the verge of another disappointing early exit.

Santa Clara appeared to have scored the game-winning basket with 2. 4 seconds remaining to take a 73-70 lead. Then Oweh takes the inbounds pass, dribbles past half court and launches a prayer.

It's good. Amazingly, Oweh had actually tied the game at 70 with only 10 seconds remaining before Santa Clara's 3-point basket. Oweh would then go on to score six more points in overtime, leading the Wildcats to an 89-84 win.
