The No. 16 Prairie View A&M Panthers entered a battle with top-seeded Florida Gators in the first round of the 2026 NCAA Tournament on Friday night. From the start, Todd Golden's team took it to the SWAC champions.
The result was the second-worst loss in NCAA Tournament history at 114-55. This was a great start for the defending national champions run to repeat. Prairie View A&M now has two of the worst losses in history after suffering a 110-52 loss to Kansas in 1998.
