As Iowa rests up and begins preparations for the Round of 32, check out the takeaways from Iowa's NCAA Tournament victory over Clemson. The supporting cast showed up All year long, the question was whether Iowa could get help when a team throws defenders at Bennett Stirtz. Well, tonight, was that in some sort of way.

Bennett Stirtz did not have his best game as a Hawkeye, but Iowa still found a way with the supporting cast shouldering the load. Led by Kael Combs, who was absolutely massive for Iowa today with 15 points, Iowa also got 14 points from Alvaro Folgueiras, 8 from Cooper Koch, and 7 from Tate Sage off the bench, which proved to be a difference maker. Iowa needed this support as Stirtz was just 4-17 on the day.
