Villanova’s season ends in disappointing fashion
A bitter end to a successful season
SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA - MARCH 20: Bryce Lindsay #2 of the Villanova Wildcats dribbles the ball defended by Zach Keller #32 and Adlan Elamin #35 of the Utah State Aggies during the first half in the first round of the 2026 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament at Viejas Arena at San Diego State University on March 20, 2026 in San Diego, California. More to come in the coming days and weeks, as the transfer portal will be key to improving Villanova’s odds for next season. But for this one, the attrition to the roster and a few dud performances did the Wildcats in. Thank you Bryce Lindsay for absolutely cooking today.
Villanova's ( @NovaMBB ) Bryce Lindsay on the 2026 season: "It was a great year. Hell of a coaching staff, hell of teammates. This is the year that I'm going to remember throughout my two years that I have left in college.
I feel like we meshed together. We came together quick. " — David Szczepanski (@WXVUDavidS) March 21, 2026 Thank you to Duke Brennan, who battled his tail off and almost beat the program’s double-double record.
