History could be made for No. 2 Texas softball when it plays Friday night against Baylor at McCombs Field. The Longhorns (26-1, 6-0 SEC) are taking a respite from their SEC slate and welcoming the Bears (20-7, 5-1 Big 12) for a weekend series at home.
If Texas wins, it will set a program record with 25 straight victories; the record is currently 24 straight wins, set by the 2006 team.
