Alabama basketball downed Hofstra in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, pulling the game away in the second half. The Crimson Tide used 29 points from Labron Philon in the 90-70 win over Hofstra on Friday, March 20, and afterwards college basketball and the Crimson Tide faithful took to social media to react and celebrate. Alabama trailed by 10 in the first half but took a lead by intermission.
Alabama outscored the Pride by 18 in the second half, running away with the game. Aiden Sherrell added 15 points and 15 rebounds. Alabama will play Texas Tech in the Round of 32 on Sunday.
