They’ve now basically handed the keys to Jacob Misiorowski to be their new All-Star ace, but they still have to fill the hole in the rotation that Peralta left. While they are loaded with young arms to take his place, getting a veteran might be a better idea, to mentor all of them and hold a key spot in the rotation. FanSided’s Robert Murray also believes so, and speculates that the Brewers get probably the best pitcher left on the market in Lucas Giolito.

Quinn Priester has a bullpen scheduled for Saturday and is estimated to return in April. Logan Henderson is scheduled for a game (2-3 innings) on Friday.

And then Kyle Harrison, a popular breakout candidate, left his start on Wednesday with a blister on his left index finger. Thankfully for Milwaukee, Harrison’s ailment shouldn’t keep him out long. But after trading Freddy Peralta, the Brewers don’t have their typical number of arms ahead of Opening Day.
