Broncos officially announce signing safety to 1-year contract

The Broncos officially signed safety Tycen Anderson on Friday.

It's officially official now. Following premature reports that safety Tycen Anderson had agreed to sign with the Denver Broncos on Wednesday evening, the defensive back actually agreed to a one-year deal on Thursday morning. The Broncos officially announced the signing on Friday, making Anderson their first outside free agent signing of 2026.

Denver was the last team in the NFL to sign a free agent from another club this offseason. Anderson (6-2, 205 pounds) spent the first four years of his career with the Cincinnati Bengals . He was a kicking game ace in Cincinnati, earning special teams grades of 83.
