During the first half, All-American forward Joshua Jefferson went down with a nasty-looking left ankle injury. He didn't land on anyone else. He just found a way to turn his foot in a major way as he came to the floor after attacking the basket.

Jefferson hit the floor a couple times, aware that this wasn't a garden variety ankle sprain. Later in the half, he was shown with crutches, and he was ruled out of the game. Jefferson is one of the best players in the country, and one of the more unique ones.
