Robert Parish sees some of his Original Big Three in this version of the Boston Celtics

One of the secret weapons of the "Original Big Three" era of the Boston Celtics was that they outhustled other ball clubs, even with their Hall of Fame-heavy rosters. Robert Parish, Larry Bird, Kevin McHale, Danny Ainge and company would run their opponents into the ground in transition, outwork you for every 50-50 ball, and demoralize you on defense with their intensity. So it ought to be no surprise that a modern iteration of that vibe with this season's Celtics has struck a chord with Parrish, who recently spoke about how he sees the Boston team of today carrying forward that play style.

"We all bought into this philosophy (that) you’re playing for the name on the front of the jersey, not the name on the back of the jersey," said the Chief. "And I think we all bought into that. " "We checked our egos at the door, and I think that’s paramount," he continued.
