The Los Angeles Dodgers already have a surplus of arms on their pitching staff. However, it never hurts to add depth. According to Shi Davidi of Sportsnet , the Dodgers are in agreement with left-hander Logan Allen on a minor league contract.
He is not to be confused with the right-hander of the same name with the Cleveland Guardians . Allen, 28, spent last season in South Korea with the KBO's NC Dinos, posting a 4. 53 ERA with 149 strikeouts in 173 innings.
He made two appearances in this year's World Baseball Classic with Canada. He got the WBC nod and pitched twice for Team Canada, working 3 1/3 innings of one-run ball," Anthony Franco of MLB Trade Rumors wrote Thursday.
