However, the following season, he left the club for Club Brugge, where he struggled to make an impact, featuring in just four matches and playing only 29 minutes in total.

Barbera ended up returning to Barcelona last year and became a part of Barça Atletic. Injuries have hampered him, but he managed to score six goals in seven games before getting sidelined. Set to return soon, the striker is now expected to bid goodbye to the club at the end of the season by signing for Valladolid.
