But their dugout espresso machine certainly didn’t hurt. Italy took shots of premium Italian espresso during home run celebrations and to keep the energy up throughout the tournament. Slugger Vinnie Pasquantino was flying high, physically as well as emotionally, after taking a shot to mark each of his WBC-record three home runs against Mexico.
