Should the New York Jets trade for QB Will Levis?
Should the New York Jets trade for Tennessee Titans QB Will Levis? They still have a need at QB.
The New York Jets reunited with veteran quarterback Geno Smith to be their starter in 2026 . All indications are that the Jets want to acquire a second quarterback this offseason. One intriguing option may be Tennessee Titans backup quarterback Will Levis.
The Titans selected Levis with the 33rd pick in the 2023 NFL draft. That was under previous GM Ran Carthon and head coach Mike Vrabel. Levis impressed in brief flashes in 2023 under Vrabel, but failed spectacularly under new head coach Brian Callahan in 2024.
The Titans then drafted Cam Ward at No. 1 overall in 2025. Anyone involved with Levis' development in Tennessee, Carthon, Callahan, and Vrabel, have since been fired.
Levis spent the 2025 campaign on season-ending IR recovering from offseason shoulder surgery. Levis is now entering a contract year. Ward is the Titans' new franchise quarterback.
