The Canes are coming off an exciting overtime win against the Penguins on Wednesday night.

They have a 6-4-0 record in their last 10 games and seem to be fighting consistency. The Leafs are having a disaster of a season and now their captain, Auston Matthews is out the rest of the way after getting kneed by Radko Gudas. They are 2-5-3 in their last 10.

Since Fred Andersen won the last outing, look for Brandon Bussi to return to the net tonight. But this is unconfirmed. Jackson Blake scored his 20th goal of the season against the Pens, making him the fifth player on the team to reach that 20 goal level.

The Hurricanes are the only team in the NHL to achieve this. I have not seen anything about the lineup tonight as of this writing, so I would not expect any changes from the typical lines. Jarvis – Aho – Svechnikov Hall – Stankoven – Blake Ehlers – Staal – Martinook Robinson – Jankowski – Carrier Slavin – Chatfield Walker – Miller Nikishin – Reilly The Leafs have allowed more goals than any other team in the East and have allowed more shots on goal per game than any team in the league.

This should be a high scoring affair tonight. (So yes, bet the over). We have had some fun this season making Sean Walker comparisons to Chuck Norris, who has just recently passed on.
