The famous Ohio State walk-on who played with the Buckeyes during the Evan Turner days is a popular talking head in college basketball now, and he had plenty to say after OSU's loss to TCU in the 8-9 game to open the NCAA Tournament on Thursday. Titus actually used his platform to bash the Buckeyes' fans, not the team itself. “Ohio State Basketball fans are the worst fans in the world," Titus said.
"... They watch football all year they don’t even pay attention to the basketball program, they parachute in around late January, early February. " Ouch.
There are surely plenty of devoted fans who takes lots of offense to that statement. But there's also surely some truth to it. Ohio State is a football school, not a hoops school.
