” The comment refers to Romero being placed fifth, one spot behind Garcia, despite their meeting in May 2025. In that bout, ‘Rolly’ produced the biggest win of his career, defeating Garcia by unanimous decision after dropping him early and controlling the contest across 12 rounds. Garcia struggled to impose himself throughout, landing minimal punches and never recovering from the early knockdown.
Devin Haney backs Rolando Romero case as talks continue Stevenson is not alone in that view. Devin Haney has also backed the idea that Romero should be placed higher in the rankings, reinforcing the growing scrutiny around the list.
