High Point's student radio team rose to the occasion Thursday.
On the first day of the 2026 NCAA tournament , High Point University turned in the biggest win. After a tough, back-and-forth battle with No. 5 seed Wisconsin, High Point came up big with a block in the final seconds to pull off the upset .
It was an epic win, one deserving of a tremendous call. Thankfully, High Point student radio was able to deliver just that. The team’s student radio broadcast started garnering attention after the win, not just for their entertaining reactions to High Point’s win, but for an excellent call once the game was decided.
