Tranmere Rovers have re-signed forward Kaiyne Woolery on a deal until the end of the season. The 31-year-old previously scored eight goals in 40 league appearances for the Prenton Park side in 2020-21. Woolery's only competitive football since suffering a knee injury while playing for Cypriot side Anorthosis in September 2024 came in a trial game for Finnish club IF Gnistan in January.
Rovers are seven games without a win and are six points above the League Two relegation zone. "We are really pleased to add Kaiyne to the squad," interim boss Pete Wild told the club website. "We feel he can bring a completely different dynamic to what we have and allow us to play a different way.
" Woolery could feature for Tranmere in Saturday's game against one of his former sides, Swindon Town. All February and March's done deals, including deadline day
