In that State Farm spot, the twin brothers seem to be drenched in sweat, but it is actually cascading water from a fire hydrant they hit with their SUV, and they bicker about how much space they had to park and who should phone their famous father. Viewers could not escape the Boozers and Duke, who were the main storyline of Day One of March Madness — and perhaps for much of the rest of the tournament. That’s why the Boozer brothers are the perfect spokesmen at the perfect time for State Farm’s “With the Assist” ad campaign.
“The audience size is like the Super Bowl,” Alyson Griffin, State Farm’s head of marketing, exclusively shared. “But the engagement and the passion in March Madness is sort of unparalleled. ” In the commercial the Boozers act as if they’re in an intense argument, but off camera during the shoot, they acted like twin brothers.
