3 Steelers free agents we would like to see back in 2026

Yahoo Sports

The Steelers have multiple free agents who haven't found new teams yet that we'd love to see back for another season.

Once the legal tampering period started and NFL free agency got going, the Pittsburgh Steelers wasted little time in improving several spots on the roster. However, the team didn't do much in terms of their in-house free agents. In going over the Steelers still out there on the market, here are the three we really want to see back.

QB Aaron Rodgers No shame in hoping Aaron Rodgers returns. The Steelers didn't even try in free agency, and the trade market is nonexistent. If Rodgers doesn't re-sign, the Steelers could go into offseason workouts with Mason Rudolph and Will Howard as the top options with a mid-round rookie.

S Kyle Dugger We honestly have no idea why the Steelers chose to sign Darnell Savage immediately and Kyle Dugger is out there unsigned. Dugger joined the Steelers on October 30 via trade, and he was on the field, in the starting lineup, the following weekend. In fact, Dugger started all nine of the Steelers final nine games after joining the team and finished with two interceptions.

C Ryan McCollum You can never have enough experienced offensive lineman and McCollum was solid in very limited action last season. If the team can't upgrade, by all means, bring McCollum back for another year. This article originally appeared on Steelers Wire: 3 Steelers free agents we would like to see back in 2026
