The Buckeyes continue to impress top 2027 running backs with another keeping Ohio State in the mix for his services

Wednesday providing similar news, Ohio State once again on Thursday found themselves still in the mix for a 2027 running back prospect. Making progress as they hope to land a running back for this 2027 class, top players at the position are liking what they see from the Buckeyes and Carlos Locklyn is a major reason why. A room full of young talent to develop this spring, Ohio State’s long been one of the premier programs for running backs and certainly nothing has changed that with their latest NFL Draft success.

Releasing his latest update via social media yesterday, Louisiana native Jayden Miles is down to just six schools from an impressive offer list. The No. 388 player nationally and 30th best running back per the 247Sports Composite grades, Miles was offered by the Buckeyes last August and has them still very much on his mind.

Now down to Auburn, Florida State, Kentucky, LSU, Ohio State, and Texas Tech, the decision is getting closer. What Ohio State can use moving forward is Locklyn’s connections in Louisiana and certainly it’s gotten them this far. Sure to take one at the spot this year, the Buckeyes won’t turn down a second if both players are top priorities and Miles fits that mold.

Now, the next big move for the staff is to see him back on campus so they can continue showing him why the best fit for him is heading north to Ohio for his college career.
