Vanderbilt gets late tip for Saturday game vs. Nebraska
The Commodores and Cornhuskers will tip off at 7:45 PM.

(Photo by Stacy Revere/Getty Images) | Getty Images Vanderbilt advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2012, and per CBS Sports’s Matt Norlander, the Commodores’ second-round game against Nebraska will tip off late on Saturday: Matt Norlander (@MattNorlander) on X After landing in the afternoon window for the first round, things flip for the second round: the two evening winners in Oklahoma City on Thursday (Texas A&M and Houston) will tip off at 5:10 PM CT, and the second game between Vanderbilt and Nebraska will be roughly 30 minutes after that one ends — approximately 7:45 PM if everything goes to plan. Both games from Oklahoma City will be broadcast on TNT.
Nebraska blasted Troy 76-47 on Thursday for its first NCAA Tournament win. In spite of being the lower-seeded team, FanDuel’s early odds have Vanderbilt as a 3. 5-point favorite over the Cornhuskers.
