The Blue Devils escaped a tougher-than-expected battle with No. 16-seed Siena to advance to the Second Round; trailing by as much as 13 in the 2nd half, Duke eventually emerged with the 71-65 victory to avoid becoming just the third No. 1-seed to ever lose to a 16-seed.
