GLENDALE – It didn’t take long for a former teammate of Kyler Murray to take his old jersey number from the Arizona Cardinals. Linebacker Mack Wilson Sr. is entering his third year with the franchise and is an integral part of the team’s defense.

Wilson announced on social media that he will be changing his jersey number from the No. 2 to No. 1, a number Murray has held for the past seven years.

The 28-year-old didn’t wear No. 1 in the NFL or in College up to this point, but he is still sending a message with the change.
