Top QB Hudson Garrity to transfer from Archies. See where he's headed

Garrity completed his eighth-grade season at Archbishop Williams last fall. He is transferring to another South Shore program.

Hudson Garrity 's high school football career is on to its second chapter. On Thursday, March 19, the Hingham-born freshman quarterback announced that he will transfer to Milton Academy this fall, after spending his eighth-grade year at Archbishop Williams. Garrity secured Division 1 college football offers from UMass and Syracuse before ever playing high school football.

The Minutemen were first to submit an offer in Oct. 2024, when Garrity was 13 years old . "Grateful to my family, amazing coaches and mentors who are on this journey with me," Garrity wrote in an Instagram post declaring the move.
