UNC Basketball vs. VCU Live Discussion

This will be the first time the Tar Heels have set foot on the basketball court in any meaningful way since their loss to Clemson in the quarterfinals of the ACC Tournament.

As for the Rams, they enter the game as the Atlantic 10 Tournament Champions after taking down Dayton over the weekend. It should be a fun game for basketball fans, but of course, for Carolina fans there is some understandable anxiousness. The big key to today’s game is to play with more energy and effort than they did against the Tigers.

It was something that was said by players and coaches quite a bit after that game, and we all were able to see the lack of both of those things in real time. Ball security will also keep things from going in the wrong direction, and they will need Henri Veesaar especially to take better care of the basketball. Should the Tar Heels win this game, they will move on to play the winner of the Illinois/Penn game later tonight.
