Nets' Michael Porter Jr. to miss 2-3 weeks with left hamstring strain
The Brooklyn Nets announced on Thursday that forward Michael Porter Jr. will miss the next two to three weeks with a left hamstring strain.
The Brooklyn Nets have 13 games left to play in their 2025-26 NBA season and as they near the end of the campaign, the team is dealing with plenty of injuries. Brooklyn has had to play without forward Michael Porter Jr. for the past four games as he recovers from a right ankle sprain and left hamstring awareness, but it seems like the Nets will have to get used to being without him.
The Nets announced on Thursday that Porter has been diagnosed with a left hamstring strain following an MRI that was performed on him on Wednesday. As a result, Porter will be out of the lineup and will be reevaluated in the next two to three weeks, putting him on track to return before the season comes to a close. That will depend on how he's feeling over the next couple of weeks.
Porter, 27 , is averaging a career-high 24. 2 points, 7. 1 rebounds, and 3.
0 assists per game while shooting 46. 3% from the field and 36. 3% from three-point range in 52 games played this season.
