Nets' Michael Porter Jr. out with left hamstring strain, will be reevaluated in 2-3 weeks

Porter Jr. might be finished for the season with the Nets playing for a chance at the No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft.

Brooklyn Nets forward Michael Porter Jr. will be out for two to three weeks after being diagnosede with a left hamstring strain, the team announced on Thursday. He will be re-evaluated after that period.

By then, however, the Netsโ€™ season could be over. Only 13 games remain on the regular-season schedule for Brooklyn and the team has been playing for the No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft.
