Linebacker Logan Wilson is forever connected to one of the most dissected plays in Cincinnati Bengals history. With the Bengals clinging to a 20-16 late in Super Bowl LVI, officials called Wilson for holding against Los Angeles Rams receiver Cooper Kupp. As a result of the play , which came on third-and-goal from the Bengals’ 8-yard line, set up the Rams for the winning touchdown pass to Kupp with one minute, 25 seconds remaining.

He led Cincinnati with nine tackles, including three tackles for loss, in the Super Bowl.

The Cincinnati Bengals paid tribute to Wilson on March 18 with a highlight video. It celebrated several moments beyond the Super Bowl. The team captioned its X post , “Thanks for the memories, Logan.

” The highlight video featured Wilson making two big postseason plays. First, he intercepted Tennessee Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill in the 2021 AFC divisional playoffs to set up a game-winning field goal. Then, he had a hand, literally, in creating a fumble that fell into teammate Sam Hubbard’s hands and was returned 99 yards for a touchdown in a 2022 wild-card playoff game against the Baltimore Ravens.
