USA TODAY Sports unveils 2025-26 ALL-USA East Boys Basketball Team
Jordan Smith, Deron Rippey headline 2025-26 ALL-USA East Boys Basketball Team.
USA TODAY Sports turns the focus eastward, announcing the ALL-USA East Boys Basketball Team and highlighting a group of high school athletes who have defined the region’s basketball landscape. Spanning the East — coastal schools, Great Lakes programs and communities from Pennsylvania down through North Carolina — these players didn’t just fill stat sheets. They shifted the seasons' momentum, lifted the people around them, and brought energy to local gyms week after week.
What sets them apart goes beyond talent; it’s their resilience, leadership and game-shaping competitiveness. Their achievements also put them on a much bigger stage. Every athlete selected to the East roster is automatically a finalist for the ALL-USA National Boys Basketball Team, USA TODAY Sports’ All-America list that debuted in 1982.
The national team will be revealed in early April. The East Region encompasses athletes from Connecticut, District of Columbia, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont and Virginia.
