Stefon Diggs and Deebo Samuel are coming from different places, but they're looking for the same thing: a new free agent home as veteran wide receivers.
Diggs spent a single season with the New England Patriots . Samuel was with the Washington Commanders for one year. They remain free agents more than a week into the window for players to sign with teams.
Diggs and Samuel would be regarded by most as two of the three-best WRs still available, along with Jauan Jennings from the 49ers . NFL. com's Nick Shook wrote more about both Diggs and Samuel in a new article on Thursday , coming up with best fits for both.
For Diggs, Shook feels the Baltimore Ravens make the most sense as a landing spot. "No, he hasn't already suited up for the Ravens in the past, but it sure feels like Diggs is made for Baltimore in 2026," Shook writes. "The 32-year-old receiver became a mercenary pass catcher over the last two seasons, leaving Buffalo for Houston via trade before packing his bags for New England and filling an important veteran role for the darling Patriots in 2025.
