"Their short-term flier on quarterback Malik Willis was necessary and smart, but he’s going to be awfully lonely after the Dolphins’ offseason fire sale," Vacchiano wrote. " Trading WR Jaylen Waddle for a first- and third-round pick was a great move for Miami's future, but who’s left for Willis to throw to?
" Vacchiano has a fair point. Willis' top three wide receivers right now are Tutu Atwell , Jalen Tolbert and Malik Washington. All three of those options are best suited to the third-best wide receivers on a depth chart.
