Nearly a year after making that decision, Gardner and her fellow Vandals on the Idaho women's basketball team find themselves in the NCAA Tournament. The 13th-seeded Vandals (29-5) will challenge fourth-seeded Oklahoma (24-7) at 7 p. m.

Friday (ESPN) on the Sooners' home court in Norman, Okla. The 15th-seeded Idaho men (21-14), also playing March Madness in Oklahoma, will face second-seeded Houston (28-6) at 7 p. m.
